| HOW DO I CHOOSE THE CORRECT CONTRACTOR FOR MY SPECIFIC PROJECT? |
- You should investigate the company by checking the following: license status, credit rating, affiliations, references, and building departments the contractor has worked with.
- The General Contractor should be a qualified commercial contractor in compliance with the scope of work: i.e. professional, medical, stores, shopping centers.

| WHEN SHOULD A GENERAL CONTRACTOR GET INVOLVED WITH A PROJECT? |
- Ideally this should be done before the plans are developed. The general contractor can provide valuable cost savings on material and finishes, and recommend an architect that best suits the project, creating a team atmosphere.

- This depends upon the size and complexity of the job. It may take any where from one to two weeks for a smaller job and up to four weeks for a larger or intricate project.

- Accuracy of the architectural plan and/or information received from the client may vary.

- It is the responsibility of the licensed General Contractor to point out any detected errors or possible omissions during the bid process.

- Building permits should be attainable in two to five weeks depending upon the size of the project, providing the plans are professionally prepared and complete, and meet all building code requirements.

| HOW DO WARRANTIES WORK? |
- Labor and material warranties are typically for one year from installation or from the first day of use, depending on the components. Some items are warranted longer if the manufacturer so states in the sales agreement i.e.: A/C units, roofing materials, etc.
