Experience: Posner Construction Co. Inc.: 1971-2009; Journeyman carpenter specializing in drywall and metal framing with Local Union 1073 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1969 to 1971.; Started Posner Construction Co. Inc. in 1971.
Developed projects from concept to completion. As Chief Executive Officer with responsibility to oversee all aspects of the business. Personally supervise estimating, project management, and contracts. Create and develop accounting procedures, bid lists, cost controls, and contract language. All work is performed in conjunction with AIA documents in the strictest of disciplines, using the CSI format.
The organization started as a small drywall-carpentry subcontracting company, and progressed to a general construction firm. From 1980 to present the firm produced over forty million dollars in contracts. Some of these projects were new office buildings, shopping centers, façade improvements, medical buildouts, high rise renovations, store interior fit-ups, office renovations and restaurants. My client list includes Lord & Taylor, Rendina Medical facilities, Kimco and Regency Centers, to mention a few.
Education: Attended Philadelphia Community College, course of study: Business Administration; Licensed Real Estate Salesperson; Licensed General Contractor.
Other Interests: Served on the Board of Trustees, Temple Beth Am for 11 years; currently on the Board of Directors, Jupiter Gardens Office Complex.
